Mabry, Harold Ray

Harold Ray Mabry (77) of Pilot, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2024, with his family lovingly by his side. Ray was born on June 6, 1946, to Leonard and Florence Mabry in Christiansburg VA. Preceded in death by his parents, siblings George Willie Conner, Melvin Conner, Mobie Barlow and special friend Wayne Myers.

Survived by his wife of 32 years, Coletta Mabry. Sister Jane (Perry) Cole. Daughter Karen (Tony) Harris. Stepdaughter Stephanie Collins. Grandchildren Steven (Brittney) Lester, Tara (Matt) Reynolds, and Travis Lester. Step grandson Jacob Collins. Great grandchildren, Mason, Isaac, and Nathan Lester, Lane and Wade Reynolds, and McKenna and Rylan Lester.
Several nieces and nephews. Special friends Ralph Carroll, Richard Cumbee, and Russell Lester. Numerous church family and friends.

Ray was strong willed and stubborn at times but had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor who loved hunting, working with his hands, and Westerns. He will be missed by many.

A graveside service will be held at Huffville Cemetery in Pilot, VA on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 2 pm.
