Linkous, Raymond Lee
Raymond Lee Linkous, age 76, of Blacksburg died Wednesday January 14, 2026. He was born on December 17, 1949, to the late Buford and Mary Hungate Linkous. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Billy, Lewis, and David Linkous; sisters, Alice Linkous and Ruth Collins.
Raymond owned and operated Decks and More in Blacksburg for many years. Raymond was a lifetime member of Sunnyside Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was a Deacon and taught Sunday School.
He is survived by his wife, Shelby Jean Linkous; son and daughter-in-law, William and Joyce Price; daughters and son-in-law, Debbie Hager (Rod Martin), Karen and John Sewell; grandchildren, Matt Price, Tiffani Harrison, Chelsea Sewell, Courtney Croy, Julia Hess, and Cynthia Hager; great-grandchildren, Mason, Max, Ashton, Maddox, Marlee, and Miles; sister, Bessie Price; brothers-in-law and sisters in law, Will and Judy Alls, Ed Alls, and Rita Alls; special friend, Dallas Pickering; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday January 24, 2026, at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm at McCoy Funeral Home.
