Light, David McKinley
David McKinley Light, 70 of Christiansburg passed away October 10, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Capitola Light; and his brother, Billy Light.
David is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Terry Meredith Light; son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Michelle Light; grandchildren, Camden Mielnicki, McKinley Light, Brienne Light; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Winfred Harris; brother and sister-in-law, James and Joyce Farley; as well as many nieces and nephews.
David was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was known for his sense of humor.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 4-6 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 14, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jason Meredith officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
Donations may be made in David’s honor to the Riverview Holiness Church, 1134 North Fork Road, Christiansburg, VA 24073.

We worked with David for years at Wolverine and thought the world of him. Always was making us laugh . Praying for his family 🙏🙏

so sorry to hear of David’s passing. I grew up with him and went to school with him. prayers for the family.
