King, Brenda Worrell

Brenda Mae Worrell King, age 63 of Pulaski, died Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville. She was born in Pulaski on March 11, 1962, and was the daughter of the late Evelyn Taylor Worrell and the late Cornelius Lee Worrell. Brenda retired from Pyrotechnique of Grucci, Inc., and was a Blue Star Mother.

She is survived by her husband: Charlie King of Pulaski: son; Matthew Garrett Worrell and his wife Julie of Yorktown, VA, Brenda’s grandchildren; Conner Worrell of Yorktown, VA, and Brooke Worrell of Yorktown, VA: Brother; Cornelius “Buck” Worrell, II of Pulaski: sisters; Nancy W. Ayers of Dublin, Doris Vest of Pulaski, and Martha Lambert of Pulaski. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 at at 2:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the King Family Cemetery in Barren Springs.
