Jordan, Nancy Jones

Nancy Jean Jones Jordan, 85, of Pulaski, Virginia, passed away peacefully on January 19th, 2023. Born on May 1,1938, Nancy was the daughter of Harless and Lucy Andrews Jones.

Nancy is survived by her sons Byron Wendell “Buddy” Jones and his wife Briana I. Jones and David Matthew Jones and his partner Farrell Doss. Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren whom she dearly loved: Hannan M. Hopkins and her husband William; Samuel B. Jones and his wife Emory; Macie L. Jones; Caitlin Martin and her husband TJ, Kyle Jones, Jason D Roy, and Amy Joelle Roy. Her daughter-in-law also survives Nancy, Marsha Ball Jones. Nancy is preceded in death by a son, Eric Andrew Jones. Husband’s Wendell B. Jones and Tom Jordan, and her parents, Harless and Lucy Jones.

Nancy’s life is an inspiration to us all. She was a highly respected member of her community, known for her kind and loving nature as a mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone. Her dedication to her work at K-Mart for over 20 years and her continued commitment to spreading warmth and care at Walmart in her retirement is truly inspiring. Nancy’s lifelong membership in the First Church of Brethren and her legacy of perseverance, hard work, and love will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

The family will plan a celebration of life to occur at a later date.
