Johnson, Pamela Perkinson
Pamela Perkinson Johnson, 77, of Christiansburg went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 1, 2025. Pam was born on October 4, 1947 to the late Clyde Owen & Opal McBridePerkinson. Pam went on to marry Jere Lane Johnson and they had two children together.
Christopher Brian Johnson was their son who passed away in 2012. He married Sara Harris and they have a daughter, Amber Lane Johnson.
Sheri Lane Johnson Smith is their daughter who resides in Knoxville with her spouse, Dewayne Smith, and their children, Cullen Wayne Smith, Delaney Grace Smith, and Sullivan Lane Smith.
Pam is survived also by her dear and caring brother and sister-in-law, James Wilson and Sandy Whitescarver Perkinson and their children; Noelle Perkinson Campbell, Molly Perkinson Camper, and Jared Nathan Perkinson; who each have a son of their own. She also had many friends including close ones, Pat Whitaker, Susan Valach and Mary Sue West.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 8 at 3 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 4 p.m.

To Pam’s Family, I will miss Pam at church. I used to greet her every Sunday when she felt well enough to attend. The Ladies in her Life Group kept me up to date on her health. HEAVEN!!!! No More Pain and Suffering! I look forward to seeing you again. She is in Jesus’s arms now! Rest in Peace my sweet,kind and wonderful Christian Sister!
