Johnson, Dustin Allen

Johnson, Dustin Allen 2Dustin Allen Johnson, 38, of Blacksburg, Virginia died unexpectedly from an accidental overdose. His death is a tragic reminder that the disease of addiction can take hold of anyone’s life.

Throughout his life, Dustin faced challenges that many could not see but he was always loved and supported by his family. With a smile that could light up any room, we find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace. Dustin was so much more to us than his disease; he was a kind, talented, intelligent human being with a heart of gold. He had an extra special love in his heart for Brittny, his kids, and his deceased grandfather, Albert James.

Dustin will be remembered for his warm heart, sense of humor, and his passion for drawing, tattooing, and making and eating his favorite food, pizza. A light has gone out in our lives but we will forever hold the memories of his laughter and his love for his family and friends close to our hearts.

Dustin was born in Franklin County, Virginia on December 9, 1986. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Albert James; his sister, Cady Leigh Moore. Surviving are his mother, Sherry L. Booth; his father, Jeffrey R. Booth; his brother, Devon R. Booth; his grandmother, Claudine C. James; his fiancée, Brittny Ayers; his children Kaleb O. Johnson, Kiera L. Johnson, Kaydence J.
