Hill, Brenda Rasnick

Hill, Brenda RasnickBrenda Ann (Rasnick) Hill went to dance with abandon on the streets of heaven on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Born August 16, 1962 in Dickenson County VA, she was a loving mother, sister, mamaw, and friend to all.

She loved coffee on her porch, shopping and college football. Brenda was strong-willed and stubborn, but she also had an enormous heart, an ear to listen and a joke to lighten the load. She always had a way of making everyone feel like they were special. We will forever miss her singing Happy Birthday, and her signature “I loves you muches!”.

Somehow, she believed we could live without her. As much as that confidence is resented, we will draw strength from her faith in knowing there was a better place prepared for her- without heartache, without illness, where her mind and body would be perfected. Sadly for us, but lucky for her, God was listening and answered her prayers. Sometimes, all people need is your time to feel their own worth. For those wondering what to say, #BeThe1To provides helpful tips.

Brenda is survived and missed by her daughters; Karen (Kevin) Warren and Jamie Hill, her grandchildren; Faith Shallow, Brienna & Ainsley Faul, Cloe, J.T. & Paul Sink; her sisters; Melba (John) Hill-Cole & Arnetta (Jeff) Schramm; her brothers; Greg Rasnick, Rick (Jody) Rasnick, & David (Kay) Rasnick as well as too many nieces and nephews to name. Her daughter, April (Cameron) Shallow, and her parents, Arbutus and Nolan Rasnick, have gone before her.
