Haynes, Mary Mannon
Mary Ruth Mannon Haynes, 89, of Fairlawn, was surrounded by her loved ones when she went home to be with her Lord and received her wings on Saturday, August 31, 2024. She was a member of the New River Baptist Temple.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Blanche Mannon; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Haynes and Christina D. Haynes Turpin; her former husband and friend, and his wife, James and Peggy Haynes; sister, Opal Pannel; and brothers, William Moore Mannon, Jr., Rolly Curtis “Rollo” Mannon, and Paul David “Bunk” Mannon.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Joey (Theresa) Haynes; grandchildren, Shawn (Melissa) Turpin, Dawn (Dino) Orgetas, Stacy Stull, Derek Turpin, and Hunter (Yamile) Haynes; nine great grandchildren; sister, Blanche “Tenny” Jones; brother, Tommy (Margie) Mannon; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her lap companion, Zoey.
The family would like to thank Janina and Sherri for their excellent care of Mom when we had appointments.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Frankie Graham officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
