Harvest still life photo wins contest

A photo by Debby Ring of Radford won the Still Life theme category at the November Radford Photo Club meeting. Joyce Sims of Radford tied with Tracy Burlingame of Riner in the open theme category. Sims’ photo was of a frosty chrysanthemum in her yard and Burlingame’s photo was of a dramatic sunrise in a cloudy sky taken during her Charleston to Nassau cruise.

The next meeting will be Thursday, Dec. 21, at 6 p.m. at the Radford Public Library. For the December program, those who wish to will bring their three best photos of the year to discuss. Photos will be on a thumb drive so they can be shared on the projector. One of the photos, as a print, will be an entry in the theme category.
