Governor’s Statement on DOJ Lawsuit
Governor Glenn Youngkin, after being notified this afternoon that the Biden-Harris Department of Justice was filing a lawsuit against the Commonwealth of Virginia, released the following statement:
“With less than 30 days until the election, the Biden-Harris Department of Justice is filing an unprecedented lawsuit against me and the Commonwealth of Virginia, for appropriately enforcing a 2006 law signed by Democrat Tim Kaine that requires Virginia to remove noncitizens from the voter rolls – a process that starts with someone declaring themselves a non-citizen and then registering to vote. Virginians – and Americans – will see this for exactly what it is: a desperate attempt to attack the legitimacy of the elections in the Commonwealth, the very crucible of American Democracy. With the support of our Attorney General, we will defend these commonsense steps, that we are legally required to take, with every resource available to us. Virginia’s election will be secure and fair, and I will not stand idly by as this politically motivated action tries to interfere in our elections, period.”

What kind of corrupt government do we have American citizens are fed up with the Biden Harris administration, making rules as they go, ignoring the constitution. what is the purpose of voting if it’s going to be done to suit one party. There should be the same rules for all states in elections. The legal citizens are what keeps this country going and pays the salaries of its representatives.l guess we can always go to war with each other and tear up our country like Ukraine and Russia. That would be just lovely to have your country in ruins from greed and power. Maybe all out war on American soil is what it’s gonna take to bring the corrupt down.

Undocumented immigrants have never been able to vote in the Commonwealth. Our Officers of Elections need to be processed through legal system if he or she is found in violation of the laws.
Eligible voters are registered to vote. Officers of Election are sworn in to register eligible voters. Eligible voters have to prove their registration when they vote. Sure, one or two may fall through the cracks at one point in the process but it can be caught at another point in the process. Purging thousands from the voter rolls this close to an election looks very suspect.
Eligible voters need to register to vote and check your registration if you are already registered to vote.
Early voting is going on now in the Commonwealth. Contact your local officer of elections to find out the time and location that you are able to go vote. Very short lines or no waiting at all right now.
