I also go to St. Paul United Methodist Church across from Burger King in Christiansburg. George was the oldest member of our church before he passed away. He was our greeter for years. He would speak to everyone and the visitors loved the way way he made them feel welcomed. I went to CHS a few years ahead of Joe and Tom but I have been friends for years. Everyone remembers George working for First National Bank. If he took mail to the post office he ran for his health rather than walk. If the bank had papers to deliver to the clerk if the court, he ran , he did not walk. I guess I should do the same, I might be so lucky and live to 103. RIP friend.

I’m so sorry you’ve lost your Dad. Please know you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
