Mac’s life was centered around classic cars, with his favorite make being Chevrolet. He had a fleet of antique cars and was always on the lookout for another trophy to add to his collection. Mac was also an avid follower of NASCAR and from memory could tell you every driver and the kind of car they drove.

In addition to his love of classic cars, Mac was also a big sports fan. He loved to follow the Virginia Tech Hokies and in his younger days, he played several sports including high school basketball. Mac was also an accomplished skier.

Those fortunate enough to know him will testify that he was a man who felt deeply for friends and family and will sorely be missed by both. For those with a classic car and able to attend please consider driving it to the service in tribute to Mac.
