Frye, Robert Soyars

Robert Soyars Frye, 88, of Radford, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Carl and Roxie Bowers Frye; his beloved grandson, Cody Wayne Frye; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Crawford, Billy Joe Nunn and Rod Smith.

Survivors include his loving wife, Anna Belle Comer Frye; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark Frye (Debbie) and Wayne Frye (Angie); grandchildren and their spouses, Jared Frye (Jennie), Casey Hamblin (Scott), and Joanna Morris (Andrew); great-grandchildren, Cora Hamblin, Emery Frye, Hattie Frye and Talon Hamblin; sisters, Pattie Crawford, Freda Nunn and Leota Smith; special sister-in-law, Marie Griffin; and numerous other relatives and special friends.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Monday, September 2, 2024, at Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. A brief service will begin at 12 p.m. following the visitation. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring.
