EFSP Announcement
The New River Valley Emergency Food & Shelter Program (ESFP) Local Board is charged with the appropriate distribution of funds to help expand the capacity to provide food, shelter, and emergency assistance programs within the New River Valley. The Local Board has announced the amount awarded to Radford City, Floyd, Montgomery & Pulaski Counties for PAUSED PHASE 41 and encourages agencies interested in applying to visit this link or by scanning the QRC code.
EFSP funds are still currently paused for ALL Phases. Local Boards and LROS should continue to monitor the EFSP website and any email communication that may be sent from the National Board and proceed at their discretion, based on available information. EFSP Staff will provide timely updates on the program’s web page, www.efsp.unitedway.org under, Latest News (see for an update), as more information becomes available.Completed online forms must be submitted by Friday, April 25, 2025.
