Dunford, Cecelia Lawrence
Cecelia Kaye Dunford, age 79, of Rich Creek, VA, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Born April 30,1945, in Mullens, WV, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Lawrence and Rhoda Pearl Bouldin Lawrence.
Kaye was a homemaker who loved shopping and decorating. She enjoyed parties and going out to eat. She loved her special dog, Mittens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Dunford, Jr.; her son, Lieutenant James E. Dunford, III; sisters, Helen Bradley, Jean Tessman, Betty Nunley, and Ella Mae Raines; and her brother, Arthur Lawrence.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Levredge and husband Jerry of Elkton, MD; granddaughter, Brittany Place of MD; and great granddaughter, Kaylin Conrad.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, WV, with Minister DR Wheeler officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
