Duncan, Uldine Dickerson

Uldine Dickerson Duncan, 99, of Willis, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joel and Albertie Dickerson; son, Joseph Duncan; two brothers and four sisters.

Uldine was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was an avid seamstress and made over one thousand quilts, some of which she donated to the Willis Fire Department to auction off. Uldine was full of kindness and compassion for everyone she met.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Ellen Maxwell; and grandson, Joseph Maxwell.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2024 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roy Turpin and Pastor Brian Turpin officiating. Interment will follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
