Duncan, Debra Saunders

Debra ‘Debbie’ Saunders Duncan, 63 of Christiansburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. She was born in Fort Bragg, NC, on June 5, 1961, to the late Robert Lee and Mary Lou Saunders.

Also preceding her in death were two siblings, Donnie Lee and Patricia Ann.

Debbie retired from Virginia Tech after 39 years.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 46 years, Ronnie Duncan; daughter, Tina Wright; sisters, Ruby Sheppard (Larry) of Blacksburg, Diana Williams (Donnie) of Floyd; three grandchildren, Austin, Maranda and Angila; 1 great-grandchild, Hayden; nieces, Samantha Fenton (Adam), Christy Stanley (Frankie), Kaitlyn Meadows (Nick); 1 great-niece, Calleigh; as well as three great-nephews, Hunter, Sawyer, and Gage.

Visitation will be Monday, March 17, 2025, from 11 a.m. to noon at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at noon in the Chapel, with Pastor David Rhudy officiating. Interment will follow in Ross Cemetery, Craig County, VA.
