Double Shooting in Glen Lyn

Giles County Sheriffs Office investigators and deputies are currently investigating a double shooting in the 200 block of Risley Circle in Glen Lyn. Two subjects were found deceased inside a residence shortly after 6:00 pm today by deputies performing a wellbeing check. Both subjects appear to have suffered gunshot wounds. At this time there is believed to be no threat to public safety and our office is not seeking any suspects. The case is ongoing and no further information will be released until after a medical examiner has completed their initial investigation.
