Double Gold for Beliveau
They say wine is all about the terroir (the soils). The terroir at Beliveau Farm Winery is producing some incredible wines. At the 2021 Mid-Atlantic Southeastern Wine Competition four Beliveau Farm estate grown varietals took medals.
Taking a coveted “DOUBLE GOLD” medal is the 2017 Estate Merlot, a luscious full-bodied wine with a silky smooth finish. Three estate grown white varietals took SILVER medals: 2019 “Destiny”, a dry Vidal Blanc; 2019 “Afternoon Delight”, a dry Chardonel, and 2019 “Discovery”, a sweet Niagara.
“Soul Singer” 2016 took a GOLD medal. The Chambourcin grapes of Soul Singer 2016 were sourced from a regional Virginia vineyard, but as with all Beliveau wines, was produced, bottled and labeled at their Montgomery County winery.
Since 2018 Beliveau Farm wines have been produced using 100% Beliveau estate grown grapes.
