Day, Patsy Brumfield Jones
Patsy Jean Brumfield Jones Day, age 77, of Blacksburg passed away, Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at New River Valley Medical Center. She was born in Blacksburg, Virginia, on October 12, 1946, to the late A. Merle and Ruby A. Carter Brumfield. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jerry Wayne Jones and John Day, and her daughters, Rhonda Jones and Karen Jones.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Cara Raines, Joel Raines, and wife Montana; former son-in-law, Barry Raines; special brother-in-law, Sam Jones; special nephew, David Brumfield; special cousin, Robin Carter Rogers; and special niece, Chrystal Akers.
The family will be following Patsy’s wishes to have a private interment. A celebration of life to be announced.

its a very sad day to hear that my “Pat” left us.Patsey took me in like a son and feed me and gave me a home when i had noone to give me a place! I am truly blessed to have known her and was blessed with sitting a many morning eating breakfast with her and eating her good ole country home made Bisicuits! I Love you PAT and i hope to see you again some day PATTY PAT

im from yellow sulphur rd. my father was good friends with Merle, Patsy father. I loved Patsy. good lady.
