Crabtree, Bertha Robinson
Bertha Robinson Crabtree, age 83, of Blacksburg, passed away, Friday, October 18, 2024 and joined her husband, Bill, who passed April 17, 2024. She was born in Montgomery County, Virginia on April 28, 1941 to the late Douglas Matthew and Mary Bland Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William H. Crabtree; her son, Bruce Matthew Camper; sister, Betty Jo Prater.
She graduated from Blacksburg High School in 1959 where she was captain of the cheer squad and was named Miss Blacksburg High School. Bertha adored her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Tania Camper; two granddaughters, Karis Camper, Kadyn Camper; brothers, James Robinson and Douglas (Teeter) Robinson.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church at 600 Prices Fork Rd., Blacksburg, Virginia.
