Cooper, Carlie Lee

Carlie Lee Cooper, age 81, of Christiansburg died, Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Montgomery Co, Va., on October 23, 1942, to the late Guy S. and Lessie Reed Cook. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Roger Bruce Cook, and her maternal grandmother, Susan Reed.

She is survived by her special long time companion, Charles Roop; sons, Gary Cooper (Kim), Donnie Cooper (Kim), and Michael Cooper; daughters, Debbie Cole (Jeff) and Missy Miller (Kevin); grandchildren, Josh Price (Laura), Matt Cooper (Tayler), Michael Cooper (Jessica), and Amie Crowder (Lee); great-grandchildren, Austin, Chase, Callie, Quinn, Layton, Rylee, and Braxton; brothers, Paul Cook, Curtis Cook, and Ricky Cook, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Hale Cemetery. The family will receive friends at McCoy Funeral Home from 1-2:00 P.M, before the service.
