Cook, Bessie Caldwell
Bessie Alveda Caldwell Cook, 80, of Blacksburg died, Tuesday. November 6, 2018, at Heritage Hall. She was born in Montgomery County, Va. on June 26, 1938 to the late Walter and Violet Songer Caldwell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Franklin Cook, two sons, Timothy Cook and Michael Cook, two granddaughters Tracey and Ashley Cook. She is survived by daughter, Joy Dunford; two sons and daughters-in-law, Frankie and Gale Cook, Danny and Carla Cook; five grandchildren, Billy, Laura Beth, Dana, Robbie, and Stacey; 11 great-grandchildren, Colton, Ginny, Hannah, Justin, Kayla, Tripp, Alexis, Seth, Kaylee, Logan, and Emily; a great-great-grandchild, Elaina; special nieces, Josie, Missy, Chelsea, Diana, Diana, Michelle, Christine, Peggy and Delores; special nephews, Jimmy, John, Donnie, Sean, David, Randy, Daniel, and Paul; special cousins, Saford, Linda, Huff, and Bobby; special friends, Mark and Karen, Charlotte and Gene, Nedra, Sue, Janet, Terry, and Debbie. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 am in the McCoy FuneralHome Chapel with Pastor Bobby Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. S.W. Blacksburg.
