When I read the article in the Roanoke Times this morning I had this feeling that I knew Doretta. Having looked up her obituary on Google, my suspicions were confirmed. I worked with Doretta at the Brian Center Nursing Facility in Fincastle, VA several years ago. She amazed us all that she drove so far to get to work. She was very kind to all the patients and supportive to the staff she worked with. She leaves a big void in the nursing profession and will be missed.
