Carter Bank & Trust welcomes new mortgage loan specialist
Carter Bank & Trust announced today that it has hired Amanda Rogers of Christiansburg as its newest mortgage loan specialist. She has joined the bank’s new mortgage lending division, which was launched in late August of 2017.
Rogers is currently one of four new Carter Bank mortgage loan specialists in its two-state service regions of Virginia and North Carolina. She serves Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Wytheville and surrounding areas.
Rogers is formerly with Colonial Farm Credit as a loan originator where she quickly became a top performer.
“Amanda is a graduate of Virginia Tech in agribusiness management and animal and poultry sciences. She knows rural Virginia well and has worked with many farmers and other hardworking families purchase their dream homes. She brings a unique perspective to our team. She’s a proven self starter, organized and highly communicative,” said Richard Owen, Carter Bank’s senior vice president and director of mortgage banking.
Rogers is active in the Chi Omega Fraternity and its chosen charity, the Make A Wish Foundation.
