BRAA Art Show Winners

For this year’s annual show, Blacksburg Regional Art Association artists were invited to submit their interpretation of controversy. The result is 41 pieces that cover a range of topics from serious commentary on hotly debated issues and satirical reactions to culture, to comedic plays on life’s less contentious matters.

The exhibit opened on July 10 with a reception and presentation of awards. Bonnie Moreno, MFA, served as this year’s juror, and her selections are as follows:
