Blacksburg Spring Cleanup begins April 6 1
Residential spring clean up service in Crystal Lake, IL. Service areas include Crystal Lake, Village of Lakewood, Cary, Oakwood Hills, Lake In The Hills, Algonquin, and Huntley.

Spring and Fall Cleanups are curbside collections for debris and brush. These services are provided to Town of Blacksburg recycling and refuse customers and not intended for the collection of waste from major construction and/or demolition debris.

The 2026 Spring Cleanup schedule is as follows:

Southwest      April 6

Southeast      April 13

Northeast      April 20

Northwest      April 27

Residents are asked to place items curbside by 7 a.m. on the Monday of their scheduled collection. Brush and yard debris are collected one day and metal, tires, and other bulky items are picked up on another day during the week. Please do not place additional items curbside after everything has been collected.
