Beliveau Farm Winery Wins the Gold! 4Beliveau Farm Winery located on the outskirts of Blacksburg in Montgomery County took home a GOLD medal in the 2023 Finger Lakes International Competition for its 2022 Cabernet Franc “Fireside Chat”. This full- bodied dry red wine has delicious red fruit flavors with spicy overtones.

In addition, Beliveau’s Vidal Blanc “Sandy Ridge” took home a SILVER medal. This dry white wine has soft mellow flavors and is great for sipping on a hot summer day.

The Finger Lakes International Wine Competition (FLIWC) showcases the exceptional craftsmanship and diversity of wine and spirits from around the world and has become one of the largest wine competitions in the world to benefit a charitable organization, Camp Good Days.

This year’s event attracted an unprecedented number of entries, reaffirming its status as a premier competition in the industry.
Since 2018 Beliveau has made all their wines from estate grown grapes which are produced and bottled on site at their Blacksburg location, a part of the North Fork of the Roanoke AVA. An AVA designation is awarded by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) to areas with unique viticultural capabilities after examining the climate, soils and terroir.
