Bank system to transition this weekend

The systems conversion for Skyline National Bank, formed by the merger of Bank of Floyd and Grayson National Bank, will take place this weekend, March 10-13.

All branches of the bank will close at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, and reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, March 13. The ATMS are expected to be working throughout the conversion weekend, but online banking and mobile banking will be unavailable from 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10 until 8:00 a.m. on Monday, March 13.

Customers’ account numbers will not change, and customers do not need to order new checks, since current account numbers and routing numbers will not change.

All customers, however, will be receiving a new debit card through the mail at no charge prior to the conversions weekend. A MasterCard with a chip will replace the current Visa card. Customers should activate their MasterCard as soon as they receive it and no later than Monday, March 13; however, the card cannot be used prior to March 13.

During the conversion weekend, new signage – reflecting the new name – will also be added.

The bank’s website will change to www.SkylineNationalBank.com, but customers do not need to set everything up again. If customers have the bankoffloyd.com or the graysonnationalbank.com address on their computer, phone, or tablet, on March 13 they will be automatically redirected to SkylineNationalBank.com.
