Ballard, Hether Morrison

Hether Anne Ballard, age 55, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024. Born June 9, 1969, in Pearisburg, VA, she was the daughter of Randall F. Morrison and the late Linda E. Pettrey Coburn. Hether attended the Appalachian Christian Center in Peterstown, WV. She loved animals, as she worked at Tri-County Veterinary Services in Peterstown, WV, for many years.

In addition to her father, survivors include two sons, Christian T. Ballard and Haley of Trafalgar, IN, and Justin Ballard and Kodi of Rich Creek, VA; one daughter, Tiffany Perdue and Clinton of Peterstown, WV; grandchildren, Weston, Isaiah, Lizzie, and Wyatt; one brother, Paul Morrison and Alleta of Rich Creek, VA; nephew, Ben Morrison; niece, Jacqueline “Jacqui” Firtz and John; and great niece, Elinor Firtz.

In keeping with Hether’s wishes, she will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Hether’s name to the Monroe County Animal League (P.O. Box 343, Union, WV 24983).
