Atkins, Anthony Ray

Anthony Ray Atkins of Myrtle Beach, SC went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2024, at the young age of 50. He was born on December 6, 1973, in Blacksburg, VA graduating in 1991, at Christiansburg High School.

Anthony was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Olive Kelly and paternal grandmother, Russelle Atkins, mother Kathryn Hope Kelly, sister Jennifer Grace Atkins.

He is survived by his father, Allen Ray Atkins (Deborah) of Myrtle Beach, SC. Brother, Robert Allen Atkins (Rachel), nephew Sam and niece Isabelle Atkins, Philadelphia, PA, stepbrothers Jason Kirkner (Stephanie), Riner, VA and Paul Kirkner (Kristi), Aynor, SC. He was also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins. Anthony had a very special friend Matt Adkins whom he considered as a brother.

The viewing will be held at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, VA on Saturday, August 10th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. A private burial will be held on Sunday for family only.
