Appalachian Holiday Market at Chantilly Farm

The Barn at Chantilly Farm in Floyd will play host to the first annual Appalachian Holiday Market on Thursday, December 12 from 5pm until 8pm.

Attendees will have the opportunity to check off names on their holiday shopping lists with a variety of local gifts including jewelry, crafts, art, woodworking, herbal remedies, felted dolls, upcycled clothing and more.

In addition to a festive holiday marketplace, guests will enjoy acoustic music, a kids craft zone and snacks will be available for purchase.

“I love that Laurie of Floyd Herb and Plant Fest is providing this platform for local and regional vendors to showcase their wares,” says Ashleigh Ward, Director of Business Development and Planning at Chantilly Farm. “As a community, let’s support our neighbors and the Appalachian way this gift giving season.”

This one-day event is orgranized and presented by Floyd Herb Fest, a local group of plant and herb specialists who are planning their first annual Floyd Herb and Plant Fest at Chantilly Farm in the spring of 2020.
