Annual Holiday Wreath Laying Ceremony will take place at Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery In Dublin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 16, 2023.
What:
• Annual ceremony to place holiday wreaths on all graves of veterans and family members interred at state veterans cemetery.
• Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery is one of three state veterans cemeteries operated by the Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS).
• Ceremony and wreath laying in partnership with Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery Volunteers and other community partners.
• Members of the public and media invited and encouraged to attend and participate.
When:
• Saturday, December 16, 2023
• 1:00 p.m. EST
• Public should arrive at cemetery by 12:30 p.m.

• Disabled parking available on cemetery grounds on first-come, first-served basis
• Public parking available at Dublin Park directly across from cemetery with shuttle bus service beginning at 11:30 a.m.
