Alderman, Sherry Anne

Sherry Anne Alderman, 63 of Pilot passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Deloyd and Goldie Kathleen Alderman.

Sherry is survived by her daughters, Krista Gregg Tillis and partner Dominic Sotile and Felicia and Christopher Bibb; grandchildren, Abbie, Christian, and Riley Bibb; sisters, Sarah and husband Dave Gottleib, Kimberly and husband Bobby Justice, and Stephanie and husband Phillip Marshall; brother, Douglas “Buck” and wife Lena Alderman; nieces and nephews, Henry and wife Barbara Walker, Dillon Justice, Rusty Marshall, Katelyn and husband Zach Stump, Amanda and husband Nate Macey; great nephews, Christopher Walker and Jonathan Harris; grandpups, Har Har, Goku, and Max; Lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends, Clay and Karen Blevins, Kyle and Cherie Blevins; the Joco Mart family and friends.

Sherry was a very outgoing and loving free spirit. She loved the evenings and weekends with family. She loved being outdoors kayaking and tending to her flowers. She worked at Joco Mart for 18 years and loved all of her customers and coworkers. She never met a stranger. Her beautiful smile and caring personality made everyone around her feel special.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel with Pastor Leon Alley officiating. Interment will follow in Huffville Church Cemetery, Pilot.
