Albert, Judith A.

Judith A. Albert, age 84, of Blacksburg, passed to her heavenly home, Tuesday, March 14, 2023, after being in Heritage Hall for over 12 years. She was born in Montgomery Co., Va., on October 9, 1938, to the late Milton Lorraine “Popeye” and Leona “Dee” Criner Albert. She was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Ora Poff Albert.

Judy was a longtime member of Blacksburg Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She was a longtime cafeteria manager for Montgomery County Public Schools, and then also retired from Krogers after many years.

She is survived by her husband of over 62 years, Joe Albert; daughters, Susan Albert and Sarah (Gary) Kendall; son, Joey (Sherri) Albert; grandchildren, John David Albert and Laura Reid Albert; and a sister-in-law, Daphna Albert Marsh. Services will be held at a later date.
