Accident results in fatality
About 9:15 this morning, deputies from Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Blacksburg Police Department, and Blacksburg Rescue responded to the 3600 block of Indian Meadow Rd. in regards to a motor vehicle crash.
The driver of an internet service vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree. Rescue workers at the scene determined that the driver was deceased. This incident is still under investigation.
