Weather Outlook 8/20

A cold front will move into the area later this afternoon, causing thunderstorms to develop, lasting into this evening. Some storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts. Localized flash flooding will also be possible due to high rain rates and where storms travel over the same areas repeatedly. The front stalls on Friday, lowering the severe threat, but increasing the flash flooding threat.
