Walls II, Billy P.

Billy “Bill” P. Walls, II, age 77, of Christiansburg died, on Friday, July 24, 2026. Bill was born to the late Billy P. and Hazel Winters Walls, I on April 14, 1949, in West Virginia. In addition to his parents Bill was preceded in death by his mother-in-law and stepfather-in-law, Paul and Irene Davis; father-in-law, James F. Early; as well as a special great-grandson, Ty.

Bill was a proud Vietnam Veteran who received numerous service awards including the Purple Heart when he was wounded. After his time in the Army, Bill worked for Wolverine Gasket for 39 years, retiring in 2014. He was also a proud member of the Blacksburg Indian Football Team graduating in 1968.

He is survived by his wife, Hilda E. Walls; daughter and son-in-law, Missy and Kevin English; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gaines and Sharon Walls and Dean and Lori Walls; grandchildren, Trista Cosner, Shea English, and Danielle English; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Reilly, Jacob, Charley, Sadie, Reese and Cooper; sister-in-law, Jo Linkous; brothers-in-law, Dale Early (Nancy Smith), William Bain, and Sherman (Debbie) Early; and numerous nieces and nephews that were dear to his heart.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 10:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Mike Vest officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, on Thursday, July 30, 2026, prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home.
