Thompson, Patricia Bair

Patricia Ann Thompson, age 83, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV. Born September 27, 1942, in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth George and Patricia Regina Dineen Bair.

Patricia was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Mellinger.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Larry Joe Thompson; two sons, Jeffery Burdorff of Brooklyn, OH, and Gregory Burdorff of Brook Park, OH; daughter, Amanda Green of Peterstown, WV; grandchildren, Grant and Hannah Burdorff, Tyler and wife Sylvia Burdorff, Justin and wife Reilly Burdorff, Akayla Truitt and husband Randy, and Sydney Hughes; two great grandchildren, Mason and Anya; and one sister, Ann Marie Nielsen and husband Frank of West Lake, OH.

A private funeral service for the family will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Peyton Hospice House (1265 Maplewood Ave., Lewisburg, WV, 24901) or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105).
