Dickerson, Virginia Dalton

Virginia Dalton Dickerson, 94 of Floyd County, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026. She is preceded in death by her first husband of 52 years, John Beryl Dickerson; second husband of 13 years, Theron Dylie Quesenberry; two brothers, Clifford and Bill; and two sisters, Vida & Cosby.

She was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church for many years. Her favorite holiday was Christmas Eve because she could have all of her family together. She loved to paint pictures, crochet, and made a lot of quilts.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Nanney (Michael) and Mona Quesenberry; grandchildren, Daryn Cockram (Whitney), Bradly Cockram (Amber), April Siler, Brandi Andes (Devin), Kendall Quesenberry, and Matthew Huxley (Lexie); 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2026 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brian Cockram officiating. Interment will follow in the Cox Cemetery, Dugspur. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
