Unattended Death Investigation

At approximately 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, the Blacksburg Police Department responded to a call regarding the well-being of an individual at 1404 Giles Road. The responding officers found that the resident was deceased. Based on the presence of potential narcotics and other undetermined substances at the scene, a warrant was obtained. The investigation is continuing with the assistance of state and federal agencies.
