Perdue, Howard Douglas
Howard Douglas Perdue, 89, of Elliston, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 5, 2026. He was born to the late Charles and Mary Perdue of Elliston, Va.
Howard worked at Goodwin Chevrolet in Salem, Va. and the Radford Army Ammunition Plant before retiring from General Electric in 1996. He served his country with pride in the National Guard.
Howard was proceeded in death by his loving wife, Ila Mae “Red” Perdue, his brothers Nelson, Burton, and Clifton Perdue, and his sisters Ruby Perdue, Glenna Mills, and Elizabeth Duncan.
Howard was a kind and caring uncle, neighbor, and friend. He was always thinking of others, and loved his family and friends. He is survived by his many nieces and nephews. Howard also deeply valued the friendship and care of the Scott and Aguilar families.
