Turner, Franceina Suttle
Franceina Suttle Turner, born and raised in Peterstown, WV, passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the age of 89.
She led a long life full of love and laughter. She was an exceptional woman who was caring, compassionate, generous, and loved whole heartedly. She was an exceptional mother to five sons, who she loved more than words can say. She was an amazing grandmother, or “maw maw”, who loved spending time with her family and always being at as many gatherings or events as she possibly could. Her family was everything to her. She also had countless other friends, “sisters”, and loved ones that she enjoyed spending time with, and most who knew her knows that she had a real love for dancing.
She was preceded in death by her sons Scotty Davis, Barry Davis, Timmy Davis, and Todd Davis, as well as her granddaughter, Michelle Whittaker, and numerous brothers, sisters, and loved ones.
She is survived by her one son, William “Billy” Davis, and four daughters-in-law, Pam Davis, Sandy Powell, Alene Davis, and Tammy Davis; as well as her grandchildren Crystal Smith, Chris Davis, Josh Jones, Ashley Hubbard, Valerie Jackson, Timothy Davis Jr., Stefan Davis, Kayla Davis, Kevin Davis, Matthew Davis, Brian Lunsford, Ashely Blankenbeckler, and Joshua Lucas, as well as many great and great great grandchildren.
We are at peace knowing she is reunited with her sons, many other loved ones and we know she is happy to be dancing with Jesus.
