WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST SUNDAY…
* WHAT…Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
* WHERE…Portions of southwest Virginia and southeast West Virginia.
* WHEN…Until 1 PM EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Strong winds Saturday night into Sunday will result in blowing and drifting snow…reducing visibility at times.

How does a person get VDOT or someone to plow you out if you have serious medical problems or important doctors appointments.I have 2important doctors appointments this week and have no way to get out or get someone to plow me out? I live on a dirt lane and I tried to call Luray VDOT and I couldn’t get no answer on the phone.The second problem is that I’m in a wheelchair.
