White, Clifton Ruben

Clifton Ruben White, age 69, of Lindside, WV, went peacefully into the arms of our lord and savior on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at his home. Born September 8,1956, in Bozoo, WV, to the late Kermit Blane and Arvella Louise (Thomas) White.

Clifton loved to listen to gospel bluegrass music. His favorite hymns were Amazing Grace and Ain’t No Grave Gonna Hold Me Down. In addition to his parents, Clifton is preceded in death by his siblings, Bernard White, Arvella White, Candy White, and Jerry Wayne White; sister-in-law, Judy White; and niece, Shelia Killet.

Clifton is survived by siblings, Kermit (Rocky) and Virginia White, Clarence and Patricia White, both of Lindside, WV; Sue and Dave Micheals of Peterstown, Chester (Ike) White of Rochester Hills, MI, and Angie and Rick Belcher of Arkansas; nephews, Rodney White, Scott Ramsey, Sven and Glen White, Kermit White, Scott White, Shawn Bradley, Lee Haynes, Roger Haynes, Dale Haynes, Alan Haynes, and Wayne Skeens; nieces, Deanna Rushing, Bernice White, Ramona Cauley, Dakota Burgess, Kimberly Lucas, Cristy Ravencamp, Shelia Dunbar, Margie Gump, Gail Miller, Sarah Ellison, Heather Crook, and Samantha Kempson.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM, on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Bob Burgess and Pastor Pete Dunford officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Rich Creek, VA. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home to help with Clifton’s funeral expenses.
