Worrell, Angela Reece
Angela Reece Worrell, 54, of Max Meadows, passed away in the company of her loved ones on Saturday, October 4, 2025. She cared deeply for her family and was a cherished friend to everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.
Angie had a kind soul and was good to everyone. If she could help anyone in any way, she believed it was her duty to do so. She loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren, Amelia and Camden. She enjoyed traveling, and frequently took day trips with her husband, Jimmy, and their beloved dog, Harley. They also loved to camp together and traveled to multiple state parks to do so. She was very gifted and had several talents that she shared with the world including cooking, baking, knitting, and crafting. She was a member of a craft-based outreach program at her church, named Crafters for Christ.
She was a devoted mother. She participated in several community organizations throughout the years in support of her daughter, Paige, such as Girl Scouts and other volunteer groups. She opened her home to many guests throughout the years and treated everyone as if they were her family, caring for them just as much as her own.
She attended Pulaski County High School and graduated with the Class of 1989. She also received an associateβs degree from New River Community College. Professionally, she worked in the manufacturing and retail industries. She attended GraceLife Baptist Church and was proud of her faith. She was married for 32 years to the love of her life.
She lived a beautiful life and spread kindness wherever she went. She will be dearly missed.
2 Corinthians 5:8 “We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.”
Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Johnny Worrell Sr., and is survived by her husband, Jimmy Worrell; her parents, Ray and Marjorie Reece; her brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Chanda Reece; daughter and son-in-law, Paige and Jeremy Dripps; grandchildren Amelia Sweet and Camden Sweet; mother-in-law, Mary Worrell and her partner Johnny La Pradd; brothers-in-law and their spouses, Jeff (Christina) Worrell and Johnny (Lisa) Worrell; nephews and their spouses, Brandon (Megan) Reece, Matthew (McKenzie) Reece, Andrew (Abby) Reece, and Alex Reece; great-niece, Ava Reece; and many other family members and friends.
The family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford, and a memorial will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.Β www.mullinsfuneralhome.com

My sweet beautiful friend..I’m in shock & sad. We grew up like sisters & my heart is broken. We always had sleepovers & were so close. Mom Marjorie always made the best goulash for us β‘ & recall riding around with them to “Elvira” back in the day & going to our 1st days of school together each year. Along with me getting driver’s license & us having the best times, although I got grounded. I know you are an angel now. π I love you sis so much & cherish all of all childhood memories, we were together most of them. Our laying in the sun using baby oil & that sun magnifier going to the skating ring with our Hawian Tropic new shirts β‘, (where you met Jimmy) & playing monopoly until 2 am with mom will never be forgotten bc you β€οΈ π loved it along with Mom beating me & I was a brat bc I lost. And you were the one by my side through so much & I was blessed with your friendship. Rest easy & will see you soon angel π I love you!
