Page, June Hamby

June Page, age 88, of Peterstown, WV, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital. Born on November 29, 1936, in Tazewell, VA, she was the daughter of the late William B. Hamby and Nellie Patrick Hamby.

June was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rich Creek, VA. She was retired from Celanese Fibers Company in Narrows, VA. June enjoyed crocheting, liked bowling, and loved to travel with Sunshine Tours.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Michele Page; two sisters, Clara Dover and Billie Sue Reed.

June is survived by three sons, Tony Page and wife Debbie, and Keith Page and wife Teri, all of Peterstown, WV, and David Page and wife Dorothy of Ballard, WV; one brother, Benny Hamby of Abingdon, VA; two sisters, Patti Campbell and Joy Roe, both of Indianapolis, IN; seven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, WV, with Rev. Aubrey Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow at the Broyles Cemetery at Lindside, WV. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
