WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 6 AM EST SATURDAY…
WHAT…West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
WHERE…Portions of northwest North Carolina, southwest and west central Virginia, and southeast West Virginia.
WHEN…From noon today to 6 AM EST Saturday.
IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Limbs and trees weakened or partially downed from the remnants of Hurricane Helene will be more susceptible being brought down by these winds.
