Allen, James Timothy

James Timothy Allen, 65 of Blacksburg, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was raised in Christiansburg by the late Betty Jo Allen.

Tim was employed by the Virginia Tech Power Plant and recently retired after 43 years.

Tim is preceded in death by a sister, Kimberly Winfrey. He is survived by his wife, Kay Linkous Allen; daughter, Trinity Thomas (Jesse; stepson, Samuel Bostwick (Lori); stepdaughter, Amanda McFalls (Luke); grandchildren, Dustin, Caleigh, Cooper, Carson, Kaiden, Graeson, and Isabella; sister, Wynoka Price (Dennis); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; special friend, Larry Wooddell

A special Thanks to the oncology nurses on 10 South at Roanoke Memorial Hospital – especially his favorite nurse, his niece, Taylor Wooddell.

To honor Tim’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. The family is planning a Celebration of Life at a later date.
